HeyEdge.ai is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. As a company operating from Lisbon, Portugal, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese data protection law. • Account registration data: name, email address, and password • Payment information: billing details processed securely through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers) • Business information you share with Edge: goals, strategies, tasks, communications, and other content • Communications you send to us directly, including support requests
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers • Log data: error reports, performance data, and system activity
• Payment processors may share transaction confirmation data with us • If you connect third-party integrations, we may receive data necessary to provide that integration
We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your account and deliver the Service • Power Edge's persistent memory and personalization features • Process payments and manage your subscription • Send service-related communications including check-ins, updates, and billing notices • Respond to support requests and resolve issues • Improve, analyze, and develop our Service using anonymized, aggregated data • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents • Comply with legal obligations We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human oversight.
For users in the European Union, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: • Contract performance: processing necessary to deliver the Service you have subscribed to • Legitimate interests: improving the Service, preventing fraud, and maintaining security, where these interests are not overridden by your rights • Legal obligation: processing required to comply with applicable law • Consent: where we explicitly ask for your consent, such as for marketing communications
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically: • Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days following cancellation or termination • Conversation and task history within Edge is retained for the duration of your subscription • Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Portuguese and EU tax law • Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 8).
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with: • Service providers: third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, and AI model providers. These parties are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us. • Legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HeyEdge.ai, our users, or the public • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, with notice provided to you Any third-party service providers who process personal data on our behalf are bound by data processing agreements compliant with GDPR Article 28.
HeyEdge.ai operates from Portugal within the European Economic Area (EEA). If we transfer your data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include: • Encryption of data in transit using TLS • Encryption of sensitive data at rest • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only • Regular security assessments and monitoring No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under GDPR and applicable Portuguese law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data • Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations • Right to restriction: request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format • Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing To exercise any of these rights, contact us at agentswhobuild@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at cnpd.pt or with the supervisory authority in your EU member state.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. These include: • Essential cookies: required for the Service to function, including authentication and session management • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it • Preference cookies: remember your settings and preferences You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
The Service is not directed at or intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us at agentswhobuild@gmail.com.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party tools. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with HeyEdge.ai.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
We may send you product updates, tips, and promotional communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at agentswhobuild@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications, which are necessary for delivering the Service.
